1. LCD display

W (Wide) - Zoom-out, turn off the Shooting mode description, or enter

the thumbnail view (Playback mode)

3. T (Tele) - Zoom-in or turn on the Shooting mode description

4. Status LED

5. MENU button or return to the previous menu

6. Function / Delete button - Activates the function menu (Capture

mode) or deletes photos (Playback mode)

7. Strap eyelet

8. Multifunctional buttons (including a 4-way control and an button)

9. Mode switch - Toggles among Capture (photo), Capture (movie), and

Playback modes

Indicator State Description

Status LED No light The digital camera is off.

Solid green • The digital camera is ready to capture

images.

• The digital camera is powering on, or is in

the power-saving mode.

Status LED Blinking green • The digital camera cannot focus.

• The digital camera is capturing a video clip.

• The flash is charging, or the USB

communication/transfer is in progress.

Self-timer LED Blinking red The self-timer function is activated.
